Casino Hold’em is now being offered by online casinos however many do not understand how to play the game. We thought we would put together a short article here on how to play Casino Hold’em. We hope this helps in your understanding of the game and when you are ready to play choose any USA online casino here to play.
Casino Hold’em is based on the popular card game Texas Hold’em. The main difference between the two is that player plays against the house and not the other players at the table. In Casino Hold’em the player starts by making an ante bet before any cards are dealt.
Once the ante bet has been placed the dealer and the player are each dealt two hole cards face down. Three community cards are then dealt face up on the board. At this point the player decides whether to fold or play. If the player decides to fold he loses his ante and the hand is over. If the player decides to play, he places a call bet which must be equal to two times the ante bet. At this point no more bets are made.
The dealer then deals two more community cards face up for a total of five cards face up on the board. The player and dealer now make the best poker hand possible from their two hole cards in their hand and the five community cards on the board. Whoever has the strongest poker hand wins. That is as long as the dealer “qualifies”. The dealer must have a pair of 4’s or better to qualify for the hand. If the dealer does not have a pair of 4’s or better in Casino Hold’em the ante bet pays according to the ante payouts table and the call bet is a push.
The ante payouts typically range anywhere from 1:1 for weaker hands (straight or less) up to 100:1 for a Royal Flush.
If the dealer qualifies, and the player’s hand is stronger than the dealer’s hand, the ante bet pays according to the ante payouts table. The player also wins the call bet which pays 1:1
If the dealer qualifies and the dealer’s hand and the player’s hand are equal it is a tie and all bets push.
If the dealer qualifies and the dealer’s hand is stronger than the player’s hand the dealer wins all bets.
An exciting play in Casino Hold’em is the side bet also sometimes call the AA bonus bet (you must have a pair of Aces or better to win the AA bonus bet). The side bet is based on the player’s two hole cards and the three flop cards. Typical payouts for the AA bonus bet are a pair of Aces to a straight 7 to 1, flush 20 to 1, full house 30 to 1, four of a kind 40 to 1, straight flush 50 to 1 and Royal flush 100 to 1.
